Day 1: The migration process

If you have a workload sitting on-prem, on Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), or Google (GCP), we look at that migration not as a one-off "project," but as part of your entire strategy. We have built specialized pipelines and a "Migration Factory" specifically designed to expedite the move into a more cost-effective environment, like the Akamai Cloud.


It’s not just about having the resources to do the move but alsoabout having the experience and results. We are a Kubernetes-first house. We leverage LKE (Linode Kubernetes Engine) and LKE-Enterprise to move workloads with precision.


During the migration process, we’ve implemented a Shift-Left approach, which means we audit your code during the migration itself. Older codebases are often littered with "bad habits", the most common being hard-coded passwords and credentials. We go through the environment, scrub those vulnerabilities, and replace them with a secure Vault.


We take those legacy habits and securely replace them with enterprise-grade protection as part of the onboarding process.


The engineering team is moving code and data, but first and foremost, they are architecting your future secure environment for high availability and replication from the moment the first bit of code is transferred.

Day 2: The managed SRE Reality

A lot of companies can get you to the cloud (Day 1). Very few know what to do once you’re there (Day 2).


This is where the Managed SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) model becomes your biggest asset.


I like to use the Lamborghini analogy:
